"Didn’t like Parking fee so ubered around"

"The usual was just some noise outside the room door and light coming in but nice room nice service and clean. Middle elevator did not work and they were a little worked but efficient enough"

"I came to San Diego specifically to stay at the Lafayette. My dad worked at this hotel when it first opened in 1946, and visiting there has been a goal of mine for many years. I was very impressed. It was beautiful and I love the art deco theme throughout. The staff was awesome and made me feel so at home. I felt so close to my dad. It was a very emotional trip. Thank you to all for making my stay so special."

"The girl at the front desk, Blair, was really nice to me. She let me check in early and spoke to me with a kind voice and a ready smile. The cooks were also very nice. I liked the Koi pond and the eating area. I liked that the elevators were seldom crowded. The only not so great thing was the parking fee, but, I liked how easy it was to get out and I liked knowing my car was safe. "
