San Diego hotel rooms a the Oakwood

"Loved the personal patio! Wish I could turn the light off on it, though so I wouldn't have to use the black out blinds. I had searched for hotels with free parking and breakfast and this came up, but it had neither of those so I was surprised by the added costs. Breakfast is order off of the menu and the parking was $25."

"Hotel located perfectly in downtown San Diego. Its location so close and actually adjoining PetCo park perfect for us baseball fanatics. We always enjoy the Omni "

"When I arrived at the hotel the First Lady was very nice. Went into my room tv not working. Called and inform within 10 mins of checking in. During a 3 hour waiting period we called an additional 2x for the tv to be fixed. Asked for face towels (hand wash cloths) whichever term you prefer. They brought 2 face towels for 3 people in one room. They were not as responsive as they should have been. Went down the next night for utensils. The guy had me standing there while he text only to have me wait for a fork and knife than smugly inform no spoons. The hotel was really quiet and conveniently located that’s the only perk I liked about this place. The room is really small and the bathroom is super small!"

"Stayed here for a weekend, have never stayed at a Hard rock hotel. The location is in a very busy area where you can walk around several places in the downtowns Gaslamp area Front desk was busy but once helped they answered any questions I had. "

"They have people living there on a month to month basis, this creates less than comfortable situations when the people next door to your room are getting into domestic violence situations at 3am and you got work at 5am! They should’ve offered me a discount but they didn’t! They didn’t seem surprised those types staying within their property. Other weirdos observed as well!"

"The bed had stains on it. We checked in around 10/11 am. They said they would text us when the room was ready. That never happened. Instead we went back to the hotel and had to wait in an hour line to be told they didn’t have a room for us at all. The lady had to contact her manager to see if they could even find a room for us. Other guests waiting in line were looking for parking in the city because the hadn’t reserved enough space for them to park even though they had paid for parking. The room had a great view but the actual property was awful. "

"Great get away with my husband, although the manager was a little judgy…she stared us down while we were walking to our room which was uncomfortable. Either than that everything else was great! Definitely would stay here again"

"We had a great stay at The Dana. The property is beautiful and my kid loved riding her tricycle along the boardwalk. The pools were nicely heated, warm but not gross warm. The pools next to the restaurant has an 2.5 foot depth at one end so my little ones could stand and swim around. Great time."
