"We had a wonderful stay at the Crane Resort. Our room and view were amazing. The staff members were top tier, so friendly and helpful. The restaurants were brilliant esp Zen. We looked forward to breakfast overlooking the beach every morning. Can hardly wait to return. "

The staff were very friendly and courteous but not over bearing. The rooms were clean and felt fresh - due to the number of rooms on the plot size they were designed to encourage the visitor to be out and about and only be in the room for a daytime siesta and your nightly sleep."

"The rooms have been considerably upgraded and are much more comfortable than before Marriott took over. But the use of buffet-dinner arrangements at premium prices is disappointing and not good value for money. You don't pay these sorts of prices to have to serve yourself. Apart from the room renovation the hotek is not much improved from the Elegant days but is much more expensive. "
