Overall fabulous stay! Staff are so attentive and courteous, adults only rooftop is fab, the infinity pool downstairs is perfect for a morning swim - rooms are spacious and all rooms have a sea view. Breakfast was outstanding with the selection on offer - cannot wait to stay again
The Bajan staff were amazing- they defo made the stay wonderful so management keep the staff happy and the hotel will be very successful! Location of hotel was great with lots of amenities in walking distance (including the beach). Rooms were beautiful and super clean. If you want a room on the beach with nearby amenities you can’t go wrong with Indigo Hotel.
Excellent customer service and impressive problem-solving from the staff. The rooms were clean, modern, and very comfortable. Everyone was friendly and accommodating throughout my stay. I look forward to returning once the hotel is fully up and running.
The staff and hotel were lovely. I loved having breakfast by the pool and being able to look out at the ocean. The area is walkable and close to restaurants and the boardwalk.
The staff were amazing such wonderful kind friendly people. It was difficult for them as the hotel wasn't yet officially open it was lovely we could've stayed longer.
This brand new property was breathtaking from the views to the furnishing. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful, so many to list- Karenya, Vanessa, Shaquille, Pedro, Tiomothy and many more. Our room, bathroom, balcony were out of a magazine. We were nervous reading reviews but truthfully it was not an issue for us and we loved our time here!
Hotel and location are beautiful, yet still working out some “bugs” in execution/operations of being a new hotel. Staff were friendly, but could be better trained (we were served our food with no napkins or utensils). But food was very good. I’d recommend giving them few more months but location, pools and furnishings are very nice!!
Overall hotel is beautiful. Great location and views. The staff is very young and inexperience as it is fairly new. They will let you stand at the front desk while they finish doing their tasks before they even acknowledge you. Then when you actually do get acknowledge it’s with attitude. It was also difficult to get the room serviced without asking.
Beautiful new hotel which just opened a few weeks ago. Check in was quite slow and we were the only ones checking in at the time. The rooms are very nice with a balcony overlooking the pool and the ocean across from the boardwalk. You can walk the boardwalk to several beachfront restaurants and bars. Great location
Beautiful hotel, and staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Lovely, spacious room with nice balcony and views of the ocean, pool, and boardwalk. The ocean is very loud, but when you close the sliding door, not a sound! Only negative about the room is lack of closet space: only 2 drawers and very few hangers (they sent up more). The 2 pool areas are beautiful. We were pleasantly surprised to find lounge chairs always available- we are used to guests claiming chairs early in the day and being shut out. The 6th floor pool (s) has comfortable lounge chairs with thick cushions.
We enjoyed walking on the boardwalk and ate at some of the beachfront restaurants. We also enjoyed eating at the hotel- excellent food. Highly recommended this place!

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
The staff was super friendly, the house cleaning was the best ever
I felt like I knew everyone after my 1st day.
It reminded me of a old TV show ""cheers" where everybody knows your name 😁
We stayed for a week March 2026
Pros
It’s new!
Beautifully decorated
Roaring waves 24/7
Boardwalk access
East walk to great restaurants and vendor market on Wednesdays & weekends
Friendly staff
Tasty food and drinks
Cons
It’s new!
All amenities are not yet available
Property is not fully staffed
No beach chairs and umbrellas to enjoy
12% Service fees (not considered gratuity)
Construction & repairs active on property
Limited service at 6th floor rooftop pool
Employee escort to the 6th floor required for adults because key cards will not allow access
Pool towels often unavailable
Be aware of the “smash burger” on the menu - it’s actually quite thick (not smashed)
Beachfront fantastic ocean views from every room. Warm friendly staff, excellent service always with genuine warmth and smiles. Food and drinks were delicious with unique and chef inspired cuisine options. Beautifully appointed modern and brand new! When the hotel is fully open the rooftop lounge and pool area will be a popular spot to relax. The infinity pool on the lower level offers unobstructed ocean views and sandy beach access. The boardwalk is a perfect place to stroll anytime of day and is spectacular in the early evening. Loved our stay!
Loved the location of this hotel and the stunning views. I particularly liked the interiors and pool areas and even the gym looks onto the sea.
This new hotel still had some teething issues such as doors not opening but im sure they will resolve it soon. Apparently they are upgrading the WiFi which was problematic on occassion.
I was not a fan of the room lighting which would automaticallt turn off if i had sat too long reading which left me sat in the dark! I also think a kettle would be useful for tea making as there is only a coffee pod machine.
Mostly the staff were great but on my arrival, check-in didnt feel welcoming which isnt great after long journey and you're feeling tired.
The cleaning staff did a great job cleaning my room. I did see a large stain on the first floor hallway carpet which i didnt expect of such a new hotel, but mostly the hotel looked pristine.
The room was beautiful ocean view, with a nice balcony and comfy chairs to relax in. My only complaint is the shower. There is nowhere to put your shampoo/soap. No ledge or shelf, so you have to put it on the floor. And when using the rain shower head, the water leaks under the door all over the floor.
we weren't aware that it was Hotel Indigo's "soft opening" until the day before departure. Expedia contacted us to let us know that only 1 restaurant and 1 pool were open and other amenities might be limited.
The good. The staff is incredibly accommodating and friendly, especially Shaq and Nako. The rooms are beautifully decorated, the views beautiful, food delicious and accessibility to the boardwalk is nice. while there, the 2nd restaurant opened for breakfast buffet. There was no toaster for the breads.
The bad. Electric outages were an issue. No elevators several times. The a/c wasn't working in our room, so we had to change rooms. The new room had a very noisy ceiling fan. There are automatic lights in the closet which turn on in the middle of the night, and can't be turned off. The bathroom design leaves little privacy. There's no place in the shower for toiletries. The bar hadn't been stocked yet. There was only rum, tequila and little else. No vodka, bourbon, scotch.
There's no beach access, which I was very disappointed by. There's a beach, but because of the coral and rocks there is no swimming and no chairs to lounge on. I was told that this was a pending project.
Despite having our credit card on file, everything at the hotel had to be payed for at time of service, which meant we had to always have our card with us. It resulted in multiple transactions on our bill.
It has the potential to be amazing once the kinks are worked out and again, the staff was great
First off we were never informed that the hotel was in construction.
Some of the hotel staff were rude and made us feel bothersome.
The “pool” although it was an infinity pool and had a beautiful. Ore was wide enough for 3 people to go across the width of the pool.
They did not warn us about the ragae buses that just drop you off anywhere they wanted to. Therefore we had to walk more than half a mile to go back in opposite direction to get to our restaurant which we were 45 minutes late for. They should have their own hotel buses that take guests where they need to go.
Since they were still in construction electric had to be shut off couple times at 10:00 pm and when asked why isn’t the work being done when guests are not in their rooms there was no response.
The bar outside by the small infinity pool was still being constructed so there was no bar and they were cutting marble out there while we were by the pool so the dust from the marble was getting every where.
There was one small dining area which closed at 8 pm and even though you could order food from the bar until 839 you couldn’t sit at the bar and eat.
Sunday you wake up and want mimosas poolside….they can out of prosecco Sunday AND Monday!!! How do you run out of a major component of drinking on vacation?!
I would never ever recommend this hotel to any one and I truly think we are owed a full refund for such an awful stay. We were at h2ocean club 2 years ago and it was wonderful.
Unfortunately, this stay did not meet expectations based on how the property was advertised. There was no disclosure at booking that the hotel was in a soft opening phase. During our stay, staff repeatedly mentioned that many issues would be resolved “in a few weeks,” making it clear the property was not fully operational. Had we known this in advance, we would have managed expectations differently or chosen not to stay.
Check-in took much longer than expected, and staff provided inconsistent or incorrect information throughout the stay. Our room had a leak under the sink, and we were given stained towels. Overall the hotel is clean.
Several basic amenities were missing or unavailable, including a blow dryer (we overheard there were only 13 available for the entire property), luggage racks, room service, and timely access to bottled water. We received an email from Expedia only days before our trip mentioning renovations; however, the reality was that the property is still adding finishing touches and the infrastructure is not fully in place.
Pool access was inconsistent, as only one pool is currently open and overcrowded. Additionally, while the property is advertised as being on the beach, it does not offer direct beach access with chairs or designated guest use. A public boardwalk runs through the area, making this more of a “beach view” property. Messages to the hotel’s 855 support number went unanswered.
They should have discounted price for this time period.
Nice hotel room with ocean view. However they need to add shelves in the shower area for toiletries and a hand rail to prevent slipping and falling. They could also add a magnifying mirror and extending the closet space as they have the space to do it. The staff needs customer training. They are not friendly nor approachable. Upon checkout they did not asked about the stay not even made eye contact. Very cold people.
Beautiful, new property with excellent staff. The included buffet breakfast left a lot to be desired, but the made to order restaurant was good. I would definitely recommend this property. It's probably one of the nicest hotels in Barbados.
