"The Bamboo was a great apartment hotel for a one night stay in San José. We had airline problems/last minute cancellation with American Airlines and didn't get in until late. The hotel made sure someone was there late and when we needed to go out to meet up with local friends they provided us with the garage gate opener. The breakfast was a great local home made dish."

"Eden Atenas is a wonderful place to stay. The included breakfast every morning is nothing short of incredible!!! The staff was so nice all the time and were always available to answer any questions we had about the area. Our hot water went out on day 2 but the host graciously moved us to a cabana with instant hot water. If you get the chance, upgrade to a cabana…100% worth it"

Being objective these are /-: * Nice property grounds * Rooms are ok size and clean * Comfy mattress * Simple but ok breakfast - * The place needs a restaurant so badly as there is nothing close to the hotel. * The shower stopped working * There is no front desk so you cannot call anyone for help and you have to open the gate yourself, this can be tricky. The staff is friendly but is literally 1 guy. * A lots of maintenance work...
