"A warm welcome awaited me at this beautiful guest house. Immaculately decorated & very clean & tidy. A comfortable room (No 6) with all the facilities i required including a spotlessly clean ensuite bathroom. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice along with prompt, attentive & polite service. The railway station & city centre shops, bars & restaurants are a short stroll away. An enjoyable stay. "

"Radiators in the room must have been for decoration, there was no heating on a freezing cold night, owners must have known this because on arrival we were handed a tiny fan heater, which made little difference in a big room. Toilet wasnt clean, bathroom light didnt work initially, towels weren't provided until I went to reception and asked for them, bed was uncomfortable. Genuinely glad I didn't pay a huge amount for the room because it is one of the worst stays I've had. Only 2 stars instead of 1 because the shower was actually warm, the TV worked and the room was quiet despite its location. "

They were very responsive and provided clear instructions for check-in and check-out, which made the process smooth and hassle-free. It was reassuring to know that we could reach out if we had any questions or concerns during our stay. Areas for Improvement While we had a lovely time overall, there were a few minor challenges that we encountered: - **Noise Sensitivity**: We were made aware of some concerns from a neighboring property regarding noise levels. Although we aimed to keep things relaxed, it seemed that even our normal conversations were a bit louder than expected. This made us more conscious of our volume throughout the stay. - **BBQ Facilities**: We noticed that there were no BBQ facilities available, which would have been a nice addition for our group. Being able to enjoy some outdoor cooking together would have enhanced our experience. - **Cookware Availability**: The property had a limited amount of cookware, which made meal preparation for our group of 20 a bit of a challenge. Having a few more pots, pans, and utensils would have made cooking easier and more enjoyable for everyone. Apart from these, we thoroughly enjoyed the stay. "
