Lively and sociable on a Saturday night. Lots of sites to see and things to do. Missed out on a guided tour on a punt down the Stour due to high water levels and strong current following lots of rain, which was a shame, but we'll try next time.

Such a friendly and diverse city. Vibrant and fun and a really lovely atmosphere. Bustling city centre and great High St, with hardly any empty shops. Plenty to do. Very clean and safe to walk around but sad to see so many rough sleepers

Been a very long time since I was last here. Canterbury is a great small city. Small independent shops, quirky, and it also has main high street shops. Great range of places to eat. Lots to see and a trip to nearby Whitstable is a must.

Canterbury is a truly wonderful city. There is so much to see and to do. The Cathedral is breathtaking as are Westgate gardens and the river. There are fabulous restaurants, cafes, pubs and shops and there is history everywhere.

Canterbury is a beautiful, pedestrianised city. Very safe, lots of young people/mostly students. It's quite touristy, with nice pubs, restaurants and two railway stations. Overall, a good experience.

"A friendly staff, comfortable room, affordable prices and excellent location make this a great place for a good night’s sleep in Canterbury. We could see the Cathedral tower out of our window."
"Centrally located hotel with a nice bar which had live jazz music on Friday afternoons. The rooms seem fairly new in their decor and there was a nice comfortable bed. We were given the option of taking an accessible room as we booked very last minute and it was incredibly spacious and we didn't hear any noise. We didn't eat in the hotel. "
"Well its owned and on the cathedral property. Wow I did not know that. It was a unique experience and close to the main streets. It was a great place to sleep next to the cathedral. It was cool to go to breakfast and see a priest or other parishioner getting ready to start a conference or some other worthy activity, not that that was the exclusive attendance of the hotel."
"Very accommodating- nothing is too much trouble. Really helpful. Best hotel service I’ve received.
Quirky little place. Rooftop outdoor seating.
Central location.
I’d definitely come again.
5* to Rob. "
