"Our stay for 2 nights was very enjoyable. Lovely old hotel handy to town. Very easy to walk around Canterbury. Room was clean and tidy. Breakfast was very good. We found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend this hotel. Although parking was 16 pound a night it was safe and secure."

"We had a two night stay at this guesthouse and for the price we paid had no real complaints. The room was small but adequate for our needs. However, street noise during the night can be problematic there was also a problem with the radiator making it unbearably hot during the night. A basic breakfast is provided which may not suite everyone but was just enough to get us started for the day. The staff member on duty was pleasant, friendly and helpful. A nice touch was the discounted and the vicinity of the nearby car park."

"Nice old building which was very clean. Lots of stairs so not so good for people with mobility problems. We had a leak in the bathroom from old radiator and toilet and were given another room without any hassle. Freedom to come and go as we pleased. Also parking deal so we could leave the car knowing it was quite safe. Staff were all very pleasant. The bar was good, staffed by receptionist so no bustling room but quiet and restful. We have been to this hotel three times now and find it very good for a quiet weekend."
