"We stayed here for 4 nights whilst visiting family in London. It’s in a great location for getting in and out of the city, just 3 stops from Bond Street. The room was really big and spacious. The kids had lots of fun in the pool, which was very shallow and easy for them to get in and out of. The steam room was sadly broken, and on arrival, the pool was closed for a 3-hour clean, which seemed strange timing during half term.
The staff were friendly enough, but on the whole, probably not up to the standards of a typical Marriott Hotel. We’ve stayed in lots of Marriott’s in the past, and they tend to make it easy for families and make a real fuss of the kids, which we didn’t necessarily experience at this hotel. The guy checking us in was very miserable, didn’t even raise a smile or give us a warm welcome - I think he’s in the wrong job!"
