4/10 Poor

"Hi , I recently stayed at the Crown Plaza Kings Cross. The lobation was amazing. The hotel cleanliness was good however the service unfortunately was nit great , I had to keep calling every day asking them to replenish, water, tea bags. The staff on the front desk was not really helpful , but the waiter in the bar restaurant had exception customer service. Which I would expect to have throughout a first class hotel. Thank you."

"We stayed in room 922, while a lovely spacious quiet room, there were a few issues. Green flashing light above bed, which goes off all through the night. Asked reception 3 times to sort, eventually they covered this. The access door to the room, whenever opened it made a air sooking noise that we could hear - staff/guests opened this door for no reason. It would be good if a sign was on saying no access etc. We had to ask for the tea/coffee/milk to be replenished as it was not done so routinely. Great location, shame we had a few issues."

Bedford Hotel

"We were in a room that had been renovated, so did not have many outlets. I was able to get an extension cord to use at the bedside. There was room for a small chair in addition to the one near the vanity, but no chair, nor was there a second luggage rack. With twin beds, there are usually two people, so someone had to find an alternative for the suitcase and sit on a bed. The room faced the street, which was very noisy. There was a small fan to move air, but to be comfortable, the window needed to be open. Thus, the room experience was not inviting. Even a less bland wall color and perhaps some framed art, would have made things look more appealing."

6/10 Okay

"The room and bathroom are small but clean. There are few facilities in the room (e.g., no tea or coffee). The bed was too soft for me but others will love it. The check in system needs review - I had to check in three times, which was frustrating (online ahead of arrival, then again at reception, only for them to then send me to a terminal for self-check-in)."
