"We mini-mooned at The Hobson and had a such a good experience we booked an extra night! Beautiful buildings, rooms and wonderful service. Chris behind the front desk couldn't do enough for us, taking pictures of us in our wedding finery in the impressive setting and making us feel very special. The restaurant is reasonably priced for such high-quality food. Try the octopus!"

"Weather was very hot ..room had a roof fan and a smaller fan ..was still very hot..the towel rail was full on very hot ..luckly found out how to turn it off..has hair dryer in draw worked well..had a meal which was very good large portions.. would recommend hotel... need a car as too far of main road for bus"

"Room 554 is a spacious twin room with a pleasant view across the train station forecourt. An excellent budget hotel with great facilities. Nice staff. Room has everything you need including charging cubes for plugs and USB. Excellent location by the railway stations with taxis right outside. 24 hour bar service, sandwiches and snacks available in the cafe and pizzas available until 3am, great air con. The bathroom pods are not my favourite thing but the hotel is such good value it's not enougg to put me off."

"Everything worked, the staff, the amenities, restaurant, bar, check in and out, car park. All very efficiently run and reasonably priced. Tidy and good looking place, perfectly situated to explore Cambridge, right opposite the Botanical gardens and with the Railway station less than a 10 minute walk. Nice breakfast and although we did not indulge, they had a perfectly reasonable evening menu. Would stay again for sure."
