"The hotel was probably the best in the local area, however while it was acceptable, several items would not make it an easy choice to return. The hotel was often full of smoke, a good portion of the beds were extremely hard. the Traffic noise from outside was disturbing. the Breakfast was restricted and very average. "The staff was amazing!! Mas (the concierge) was super helpful with recommendations and accommodations. For being a little hut in the middle of the forrest the room was okay. Just be reminded you are in nature and may need a few bugs and maybe even a lizard or two."

"The workers (2 young men) who worked in the reception and kitchen were overly nice friendly and super helpful. The retreat is very beautiful and lust but it’s so far from the Tam Coc main city, very excluded and quiet property. The bungalow we stayed in was nice but small. We stayed in the 1st one of the 3 bungalows in the same section. The AC didn’t work well and the drain in the restroom smell so badly. The balcony to view the pond is nice but so small we didn’t go out there plus it was so hot n humid. The place came w/ free breakfast but the food was just OK even when we had lunch there, it was OK. Ninh Bình is an absolutely city! I fell in love w/ the place and the nature. I will come back again but stay at a hotel closer to the city for easy access and walkable to restaurants and shops."

"What a fantastic place to stay. I was a little skeptic based on the limited reviews, but I only ended up wishing I’d stayed longer. Everything was awesome from the moment I arrived and was greeted by the staff who are all so friendly and helpful. The room was amazing, it’s so gorgeous with amazing views if you love nature. Bed was super comfy. Downsides were that the bed was on a lifted platform that I tripped over and fell when I got up in the middle of the night and could have caused a serious injury and that the bathroom (fully plumbed) was for some reason outside the room on the patio and it was quite hot and sticky. The pool was beyond beautiful and quite large. The food at the restaurant was all amazing with decent options. The only other downside was that it was a bit hard to find, especially if you’re taking a Grab, and the driveway is a little long making it a bit more hidden for the drivers. The views from the entire property were amazing. Loose friendly dogs and geese on the property, so skip this place if you don’t like animals. Otherwise, it’s amazing."

"Great, beautiful boutique store. It’s right in the center of old town Ninh Binh, so it was the perfect location. The staff is nice and welcoming. We had a river view room - gorgeous. Lots of places to eat and really glad that we could just walk around when night time falls since the area becomes alive."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Vu Hotel. The hotel appears to be family-owned and operated, and the personal attention and hospitality really stood out throughout our visit. The staff were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. They arranged a private driver for our trip back to Hanoi, making our travel plans simple and stress-free. Breakfast was another highlight. The staff paid attention to the little details and noticed how much we enjoyed the fresh mango. As we were eating, they replenished the mango, filling another plate with fresh slices, a thoughtful gesture that perfectly reflects their warm hospitality. They asked about our breakfast preferences and even prepared chicken pho for us. It was one of the best bowls of pho we had during our time in Vietnam. The laundry service was excellent and very affordable at only 50,000 VND per kilogram. Our clothes were washed, dried, neatly organized, and returned the same day smelling fresh and clean. Our room was clean and comfortable, with effective air conditioning and dependable WiFi. The hotel is conveniently located close to the main attractions, and Grab rides were easy to arrange, inexpensive, and arrived quickly whenever we needed transportation. If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable hotel with exceptional service and genuinely caring hosts, Vu Hotel is an excellent choice."

"Our stay at LaLua resort could not have been more perfect.The exceptional staff and a shout out to NGA and Thai who went above & beyond to be helpful.We loved our beautiful spacious room with mountain views with fabulous ensuite facilities,the room was spotless which housekeeping do a fabulous job.The whole resort is just beautiful with superb tropical gardens surrounding a beautiful refreshing pool with plenty of sun lounges & umbrellas for shade. The onsite restaurant was fantastic with plenty of choices for lunch or dinner,the buffet breakfast was fabulous. The resort has plenty of push bikes to take out to explore which we used a couple of times,the resort is in a quiet lane and not a lot in walking distances but we had a driver that the resort organised for us who were very reliable and prompt who took us wherever we needed,,we would not hesitate to recommend this resort & look forward to our next stay."

"We had a such a great stay here. We actually stayed an extra night we loved the place so much. We would have stayed longer but we had to move on. We are certainly going to come back to this spot the next time we are in Ninh Binh. The place is very new and everything seems chosen with care. Beds were very comfy and the rooms/cabins were very quite. The owners are super nice and very attentive. They are very handy at using Google translate to get past any language barrier. If you needed anything they can arrange it. Free bicycles provided! The view is amazing, the surrounding rock formations are surreal in how beautiful they are, plus the region has a lot to see and do."

"Quite a dust in room, especially in bedroom around the tv and tv wooden doors on top not touched for long time and drawers in edges too, not a big thing, staff awesome, the receptionist, other staff with very limited English so then end up at the restaurant while on my way to swimming pool, the breakfast is very lovely concept, set up, almost all food great except the pancakes and very strange ham, not edible for European, the danish pastry and croissants were super buttery though 👍👍but in general very nice property, ah and when you try to call hotel, you are transferred to Spanish customer service with no Vietnamese knowledge, so took phone from my gf and used English instead."
