Beach Hotels in Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur

"Overall, our stay was good, but the service fell short of expectations. The hospitality felt inconsistent, with staff appearing more task-focused rather than genuinely welcoming or happy to serve guests. Despite this, we still made sure to leave decent tips out of respect for their work. One noticeable issue was the long wait times when trying to place orders for food and drinks. Service often felt slow and lacking attentiveness. At one point, I even asked a bartender at the tiki bar if he was happy with his job, as it wasn’t reflected in his demeanor—there was a clear lack of smiles and engagement. On a positive note, the cleanliness was exceptional. The villa was maintained impeccably and truly stood out during our stay. However, given the overall service experience, we would not choose to return."

"Always asked for more water in room. Had to buy water from hotel store and they charged me $35 Canadian for 2 bottles. Blankets in room had stains. House cleaning never replaced coffee or soaps in shower (ran out on day 6 of 7). Guaranteed someone pukes every other day in one of the 3 swim up bars. Food could have been better. Restaurant and bar staff were awesome. Most likely won’t go back UNLESS it’s a really really good deal. "

"The front desk was not nice they tried to get a $1,000.00 deposit for our stay, I’m used to 300-400 that’s pretty standard, when I complained they dropped it to $200 acting like it was huge inconvenience for them. It’s really mostly the attitude of the guy at the front desk that was not a good way to kick off our stay there. The drinks down by beach and food were pretty expensive, we had 3 sushi rolls and only one drink and our bill was $153.00, seemed excessive for sushi on the beach, not even anything fancy just regular stuff. Sushi at a nice spot here in Houston is less than that. It just feels like you’re being taken advantage of. This is my 6th time in Cabo and it was the first time I had such a disappointing experience there, I’m sure I’ll go back to Cabo, but not to Me Cabo. "

"We had a great time at this hotel. The buffet was amazing, pool area very good. Beds are very comfortable. Staff were very kind. Drinks at the pool were definitely watered down and super sweet. The resort credit is an absolute joke- pretty much useless unless you want $10 off of a massage. Woop. Having said that we would go back! "
