"From the moment we arrived, the staff were friendly and attentive, showing care in every detail. The check-in process was quick and simple, and we were greeted with smiles and custom mocktails to ease the process. We were escorted to our gorgeous, ocean view room, with absolutely breathtaking scenery of flowing gardens and the sea. It was an incredible sight to wake to each morning, and the moon reflected off the ocean each night. The breakfast that was included was listed as “continental,” but it was an elevated, elegant meal each morning. Our servers were attentive, remembering our specific orders from our first day, and always greeting us with smiles. Although the property is beachfront, you do need to walk a bit to the neighbouring property, also owned by Velas, to swim, but the pool and lounge areas are perfect for sunbathing and enjoying a drink and relaxing. Lunches and dinners were fantastic, and we were glad to have a quality restaurant on site. Each day was an experience that lived up to and exceeded expectations."
