"The hotel room was spacious and everything you'd expect from a 5 star facility. The neighbourhood had plenty of options for food and entertainment. We were lucky arriving on a Wednesday, when the market was on and a mere 2 blocks away. Fresh and plentiful stalls and of course, plenty of people. We loved our stay, just wish it had been longer."

"It's bit small for family of 4 especially kitchen is very small. It is good if you are not cooking. We noticed small broken glass pieces in the kitchen utensils. "

We didn't receive any communication regarding checking in or where to park, even though we had been in touch to reserve parking, so that would have made our arrival much smoother. However, we would stay here again as it was a great location and good value. "

"Breakfast nothing special for European standards. Many updates to hotel. Hotel staff very nice. Hotel location not the best for tourists. Nothing to see or do in the area. Restaurants at least a mile walk from facility."

"My room was clean but very basic, I guess you get what you pay for. Staff were very helpful and provided hot water for tea in the morning even though I hadn’t booked breakfast, which incidentally was very expensive. Free parking to the rear and rear access made unloading very easy. The decor was a little tired and carpet look like it had had its own battle of Waterloo! Talking of which, Waterloo, is a very smart and has an air to it that is very pleasant. I only managed to ride through it but will return to walk through and visit the museum, shut on Mondays. I visited the Waterloo battle site and museum there….truly worth going to, it is excellent. "

"I am writing regarding a serious issue with my recent reservation. While booking for my birthday, I selected the date 23/02, but due to an error during the booking process, the reservation was unexpectedly changed to 23/03. As I returned from Lisbon on the same day, I arrived very late and immediately explained the situation at reception. I kindly requested a correction of the date, as the mistake did not reflect my original intent and was clearly visible when comparing the reservation details. Unfortunately, the receptionist was unhelpful and refused to assist. Instead, I was charged a full, more expensive rate than my initial booking — and without breakfast, which made this situation even more disappointing. This turned what should have been a special birthday moment into a very unpleasant experience. I respectfully request: A reimbursement of the price difference, or A full or partial refund, or A credit/voucher for a future stay under the original conditions. I trust this matter can be resolved fairly and swiftly, as this situation does not reflect the level of service I expected. Thank you in advance for your attention. I look forward to your response."
