"The room was spacious and nice. We arrived late at night (10 pm ish) and had to call the hotel three times for the shuttle. The total wait time was almost an hour. Everytime we called we were told 10 minutes…. The breakfast was amazing and some of the best food I have ever had. The front desk seemed annoyed with any questions on both stays so we avoided them. I did not think they were friendly which was strange as everywhere else (La Fortuna) was super friendly. On our second stay the shuttle was a 2 minute drive and was available to just walk on. The convience of the shuttle was amazing on the way back- The hour wait coming in was horrible as you get bombarded with people trying to offer you rides and sell you things while you wait at the airport- very uncomfortable."

"Andres, the front desk agent, was pleasant, friendly and gave a warm welcome. The room was clean, spacious, had all the needed amenities. The rooms had good noise control and I enjoyed quiet restful periods Bed was comfortable and sheets smelled clean The pool had debris on the surface but it was windy. Would have liked to see it being removed occasionally. Breakfast was good and had a few options. The staff were amazing The shuttle service was exceptional and the drivers helpful. The gym had enough equipment for use while on vacation. A wide array of weights and a weight bench was all I needed. Overall a very pleasant experience and I would definitely choose them the next time"

"Absolutely everything was perfection. The welcome, the extras, the room, the ammenities, the grounds, the spa, the food, and most of all the staff; for making our experience unforgettable. We were so spoiled and it was so beautiful, we never wanted to leave. Except maybe to try their sister resort, The Springs. We even met the owner, who happened to be in town, and he was delightful. Definitely coming back and letting everyone know this is the place to find peace and luxury in Costa Rica."

"We had an excellent stay and would absolutely return on our way back to San José! The property is absolutely beautiful, with gorgeous tropical plants everywhere you look. One of our favorite spots was the peaceful meditation lounge overlooking the koi fish and the magnificent mango tree—it was the perfect place to relax and unwind after traveling. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. They made us feel right at home. The only minor downsides were that the exchange rate offered for currency wasn't any better than what we could get at the airport, and the airport transfer was more expensive than taking an Uber. Neither issue took away from our overall experience, but they're worth knowing in advance. Overall, this was a wonderful stay. The beautiful grounds, tranquil atmosphere, great breakfast, and exceptional staff made it a place we'd happily recommend, and we look forward to staying here again on our next trip through San José."
