This place could truly be excellent, however they just missed the mark in a few areas.
1) The restaurant food quality was almost good but they used toxic seed oils in everything.
2) We booked the sauna only to find it turned off and no towels for us. We turned it on ourselves, told staff to push our appointment back to the next half hour block. One hour after turning the sauna on it was 46°C inside, we hadn’t broke a sweat & staff came by to ensure we didn’t over stay our time limit. We promptly received a bill, nobody asked about our experience. NOTE: our suite was right beside the sauna and I did not see anyone else enter after us.
3) In our suite all the bathroom racks & hangers were not secured and would fall off & the large soaker tub drain plug leaked so much we had to keep the tap running to maintain water levels.
4) In Costa Rica, the land of cacao they serve toxic Hersey’s chocolates (this one may seem petty but that stuff straight up contains aluminum and that country has organic local chocolate everywhere)

Tout était parfait et merveilleux. Souper et déjeuné vraiment parfait , on a profité du feu extérieur et dans notre petit chalet .. beau moment romantique
We really liked our stay, so much so we stayed an extra night. Only reason why it isn’t a 5 star review is for reasons obvious this not being a high star place to stay. The sauna has gaps, cold air comes in and so it doesn’t get as hot as it should be. The cabin we stayed also has gaps so cold air comes in, even with the fire on we still got cold inside and there’s no temperature controls in the cabin. The team there is great, property is great, but outside there’s not much to do, only go eat, Starbucks coffee farm, see the volcano. That’s about it. We would come back tho, for a couple nights.
Beautiful location. The room was very clean and nice. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. I would describe the property as luxury camping. It is located in the mountains so during our entire stay, it was very windy. The wind was loud. That is the only negative thing and no fault of the hotel.
Heater and microwave and some bare essentials such as plates ,forks

We stayed 3 nights; the place is very beautiful, but the experience wasn't so pleasant.
The firewood was wet. We asked about it, and the solution was to sell us an extra load. The next day, we mentioned the situation, and the young man assured us that the load was dry, but surprise, it was wet. We were stressed trying to keep the fire going. On the third night, starting at 1 p.m., we notified them that we hadn't received the day's load. After insisting, we finally received the firewood around 6 p.m.
The cabin has a kitchen area with a small refrigerator, a water heater, a coffee maker, and two cups. There's no dish soap, no napkins, no plates, glasses, or cutlery, and certainly no microwave. We ordered room service, and understandably, given the weather, the food arrived cold, and we had no way to heat it up. My husband and I have stayed in different Airbnbs, and they are well-equipped. It seems illogical that a place like this doesn't offer those amenities.
The restaurant is excellent; the service and the food are perfect.
It's a place we won't be returning to.
Loved the cabin we rented with big soaker tub and fireplace. Felt like we were on a ranch in a cabin on the mountains. Complete with all the farm animals you’d find on a ranch. Highly recommend. Romantic for couples like me & my husband or bring the kids! They’ll love the facilities.
It was just what we wanted, a romantic get away
The food was delicious and the cabin comfy, hot water, fireplace… Definitely a hidden place in the mountain
Room was good. Shower leaked into room. On site restaraunt was good. Liked the small farm with animals. Didnt stay here long since volcano was closed .
What can I say about this beautiful place. Hidden away from the hustle and bustle of city life you will find the best place we have stayed!
The staff are amazing and nothing is too much hassle for them. The entire site was clean and tidy. The cabins are big but really cute.
The food in the restaurant was amazing. And even though we were the only people staying here some days they always had a good spread laid out for breakfast or they would cook it fresh to order.
We absolutely loved our stay here and can recommend to anyone thinking of booking this place.
Great one-night stay! Would have stayed longer but we were on a schedule!
The property is beautiful and the farm-like nature add a great charm.
Stephanie at reception is a sweet heart and took great care of us.
Would highly recommend!
