"The breakfast was very disappointing. We were only offered the menu of cooked dishes. I had to ask for cereal which consisted of a small packet of cornflakes. There was no breakfast bar which one normally finds in hotels with a selection of fresh fruit, marmalade, jams etc. For this reason, I would not choose this pub again. This is a shame as we enjoyed our dinner and the room and facilities were fine."
"Nice hotel in a good location, my only gripe was the TV had subtitles on and was locked out so you couldn't remove them. Price is quite high for what you get. Had an accessible room which I am never keen on."
"Our room was very clean and stylish, bathroom and shower were perfect. Our only negative was that we couldn’t get a cocktail at 11pm when we returned from dinner, such a shame as we would have liked to finish our wedding day with a celebratory cocktail."
"This is the budget end of the Holiday Inn chain but it doesn't feel too budget. The check in was stand out in terms of friendliness and efficiency and there was a good choice for breakfast with plenty of food available. It was very busy on the Sunday morning but the team kept on top of it, turning tables around and keeping food stocked.
The hotel itself is well located, with good parking (although you have to pay for it but there is a discount code provided by the hotel). It's possible to walk into Cambridge from there though it's a cheap Uber ride to get back.
We've visited a few times now and will definitely consider again should we be in the area."
