"We had a very pleasant stay with Maggie and Paddy at The Old Rectory. The accommodation was excellent as was the food at breakfast and dinner. A fine place to drive from to the outlying towns and villages."

"My third stay - and nothing has changed, Everything perfect as always and the Crown Mundford remains my main choice when visiting the area. Great keep it up"
"Convenient location and easy access, room comfortable and clean. Reception changed our rooms to ground floor on request at arrival, as allocated rooms were not easily accessed, lots of stairs up and down and corridors. Breakfast ok on Saturday but not very hot, tea and coffee machine dispensing very weak and tasteless coffee and tea. Parking good, but quite along waln to reception. "
"The staff at this pub with accommodation were possibly the most friendly that I've ever come across. The menu was very good and the food tasty and possibly the hottest thus freshest I've ever had. The restaurant had this working method which I usually don't like which is that no one person is responsible for you but in this case it worked seamlessly. The room was large, clean and well appointed although I have concerns about soundproofing due to the construction method but when I was there the occupation was low so I had no issues with that, just take earplugs just in case as I always do. Good shower, good continental breakfast in a bag. If there was one thing that I would change-and this isn't a deal breaker as the mattress was comfortable- is upgrade the mattress. This was by no means a fault in fact I'm happy to say that my stay was faultess and I would thoroughly recommend The Old Red Lion. "
