"This is a lovely place to stay. It has everything you need .
We stayed here as we were going to a concert in Murrayfiels stadium and the location was perfect.
The cottage was clean and location beautiful.
Jack left a lovely bottle of wine and a welcome note.
Will be coming back to this beautiful place
Thanks "
"We got a small cozy room with en-suite bathroom. It was neat. The hotel is mainly a hostel with a very few rooms with en-suite . But given the high cost of hotel rooms in Edinburgh in August , the price of this room was good . Can’t complain .
Breakfast is provided by a restaurant opposite to the hotel .

"Had 4 nights in this hotel. Room is a little outdated and showing significantly. Wednesday evening we ate in the restaurant which was ok. They do add 10% service charge onto the bill and tell you they can remove it if you wish!!!! Breakfast was lovely Thursday and friday mornings, however Saturday and Sunday was a little disappointing 😞. "We had a very comfortable stay aboard the Ocean Mist, certainty a boutique hotel!. The crew were wonderful and the Castle view Bar/breakfast room is a very atmospheric spot "
"We paid for the Castle view room-- it was amazing-- well worth it. We were there in late July/early August-- fireworks and music you could see from the room every night. Very busy area with lots of shops and pubs but things close early-- not loud when you want to sleep..."

"The staff, service, food and accommodations were exemplary. Lovely nautical/arts & crafts era decor. Think Titanic with a modern sumptuous twist. We were delighted to find out tickets to the Brittania were included. Great location, simple to take the tram into the downtown, as we were travelling by train. Pricey, but well worth the splurge."
