"Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was veryclean and well appointed. Loved being so close to the beach. I had my 4 grandchildren with me and the room off the terrace was perfect. They also loved the roof top pool and hot tub. We all loved the make it yourself waffles and full breakfast. Wish we could have stayed longer. "

"We loved our stay at the Seabird!! We are locals and were here one night for my husband's 50th birthday. They comped our parking for the occasion and gave us a free glass of champagne at check in - great start! They also decorated our room with a Happy Birthday sign, balloons, and other decor. The hotel lobby is beachy, relaxing, and decorated with fun, whimsical art, plus at least 6 Christmas trees for the holidays. I loved the calm library room and enjoyed the gym. My husband had a very nice massage at the spa and said it was the most relaxed he'd been in a while. :-) It's great being able to walk across the street to the beach, the boardwalk, and the pier, plus the cool restaurants and bars on Mission Ave. It's also a very short drive to some great restaurants in downtown Carlsbad. We didn't have our kids with us, but they also have a kids play room, a pool table in the commons area, and a nice pool with jacuzzi. It's clean, beautiful, and the staff was all very friendly and professional. Would definitely stay here again!! "

"We really enjoyed our stay here. The 1 bedroom condo felt like a home away from home. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the dishes you’ll need. We loved it so much we are going back next year and staying longer. "
