"The EVEN hotel was a very servicable 2-star hotel with an exceptionally friendly staff. Small rooms, a little beat up, but everything worked, we could get extra coffee when requested and it did have some touches like the small marketplace with snacks and soft drinks. Breakfast was middle-of-the-road with one overworked woman running all the food, but overall we'd stay again, especially considering the prices compared to Manhattan hotels. It's a great location for exporting Brooklyn while still getting fast trains and cars into Manhattan, particularly downtown and midtown. "
