"Nice older hotel. No microwave or fridge in room. No bike parking, needed to move bikes in the evening down a block next to Doud’s market. Didn’t hear other guests’ noise in the evenings as we have in other Mackinac hotels. Sauna/pool area was a very nice amenity. The little balcony was a good enough space in the mornings for coffee and got no direct sunlight, which was fine for us."

"The staff is very polite and helpful. They let me know where everything was and gave us great tips for the island. The room was very clean and well maintained we were happy with it. Breakfast was a great inclusion and if you wanted there was a restaurant, bar and pizza spot on site, very convenient that we didn’t have to leave once we got there, food was good. The balcony and outside of the property needed a good power wash from bugs and fish flies. Other than that the property was very beautiful and clean. It was nice addition to have coffee and ice water in the hall at all times. The beach was included chairs and volleyball, the water isn’t as clean as on the island but still worked. We enjoyed our stay and will be back!"

"The inn was Beautiful Victorian look building. We stayed on the 5th floor and was able to enjoy the scenery outside. The room was nice and staff were helpful. They provided excellent service transporting our lugged from the port to the hotel. Outside was adorned with beautiful flowers. They also have hot tub outside."

"We stayed one night. Our room was old but very clean and well maintained. The bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows and there were extra towels. The only issue was the TV volume was messed up and would go from quiet to loud and couldn’t be adjusted. It would be nice to have several bottles of water for guests since it’s so out of the way. I suggest that you bring food and drinks with you. We did end up going to the general store at the neighbor property Inn at Stonecliffe to buy water. They have a few grab and go items. There is a very nice Woods restaurant and Bobby’s Bar that you can eat at that’s a short walk. You will want to bring something dressier to wear there to dine but we just went in the bar and ordered to go. We had a nice stay at Sunset Condos."

"The room was adequate with a nice balcony overlooking the water. Bathroom was good but nothing fancy. Indoor and outdoor pools were well maintained. Breakfast was good. Minimal equipment in the gym. Our AC was marginally working the first night but they fixed it immediately. Nice shuttle to Shepler’s for the fairy to Makinaw Island."
