"I did not stay there and was unable to change or cancel reservation. I had no luck getting ahold of Expedia, the property staff were kind but could not help me change the date without Expedia?!? I lost all the money and tried am very frustrated! I use Expedia a lot and this was a terrible experience! I hope Expedia reaches out to me to correct this Sure the property was lovely but Expedia really dropped the ball and I paid the price for nothing : ( "

"Check-in was good, staff member was pleasant and the room was well presented. Unfortunately the room stank of cigarette smoke and we couldn't be moved to another room. Before I would stay here again I would insist that the room was a non-smoking room, it was truly unpleasant. "Overall our stay was pleasant. The room and hotel itself is beautiful. Our issue came with the food. We wanted some food at about 9:15pm sent to our room and all that was available were tiny sandwiches which were not substantial. I have stayed at many 5 star hotels that offer far greater choice and variety with room service, especially when it’s at a relatively normal hour. We had high hopes for the breakfast but unfortunately was underwhelming for a whopping £30 per person I was expecting a lot more choice. The flavours and offerings for a 5 star hotel were sub par. The eggs benedict felt like it was made at a 2 star hotel. I would say that also waiting about 20 mins for each dish was far too long. It looks like the hotel is lacking a proper breakfast buffet reminiscent of what you would expect at a luxury hotel. It’s safe to say although the hotel is beautiful I will not be staying again although the spa and massages we had were lovely."
