"Very good, clean and pleasant basic hotel in an excellent location for exploring Braga. I was worried about parking/drop-off, but pulled into a convenient space opposite the entrance. The public parking garage was then very close by. Very good breakfast."
"Good location but running of the property seems a bit disorganised and cleanliness could be a lot better. The area is very loud at night so you will need ear plugs even if you are not a light sleeper "

"I loved this place!! They had so many nice touches from a welcome note in the room to great towels and much more. I simply cannot say enough about everything there..even had a washcloth!(not common in European hotels)"
"The property had a restaurant attached to it that was amazing, and the staff was excellent very helpful in helping us find parking getting into the hotel and just accommodating in every way that we needed"
"A lovely small hotel in the historical area of Braga.
It is located within walking distance of the railway station and the bus station. The bus station operates an hourly airport transfer bus to Porto International for 9 euros (one way).
This hotel provides great base to explore Braga’s historical sites and many good restaurants.
We were greeted upon arrival by smart professional staff who made us feel welcome and were happy to help us plan our site seeing trips.
Our standard room was clean and spacious, we were at the side of the hotel so there was not a lot of natural light or street views, but it was very quiet and peaceful. The bed was comfortable and spacious. The bathroom had a bath and shower over bath.
We did not dine at the hotel so cannot comment on the food.
We would recommend this hotel for a short stay in the beautiful City of Braga."
You can browse the exhibits at Pius XII Museum, a museum with a story of its own, during your trip to Maximinos, Sé e Cividade. While in the area, you can find time to visit its cathedral.
