"Perfect hotel for quick stays near the airport. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Rooms are small but has exactly what you need for a quick stay. There are several dining options nearby and it was great to just walk 7 minutes down the road for an early morning international flight. Staff were friendly and helpful. Enjoyed our quick overnight stay. "
"This last minute unplanned stay turned out to be amazing! Great staff, beautiful grounds, fantastic room, we even had the privilege to attend an impromptu musical performance during our breakfast which made our stay that much more memorable!"
"The owners were extremely helpful and do anything they can to please their guests. Small boutique bed and breakfast. The owner makes enough breakfast to feed a small army and it is all so good!"

Climb the baroque staircase at Bom Jesus do Monte sanctuary for sweeping views of Portugal's oldest city. Wander through the medieval cathedral and historic center where cafés serve traditional Portuguese pastries alongside the famous Braga-style bacalhau.
The old town is lovely but also go and see Bom do Jesus do Monte and the Sanctuary of our lady Sameiro.

They were not very many dinner options nearby so we ate at the hotel. They are mostly coffee shops, and cafés. Not much shopping in Braga to be had. We stayed one night just so that we could go to Dom Jesus, which was very nice!
"Vila Gale is the best hotel! I stayed there for three weeks with my two young children and my husband. The staff were tremendously helpful and friendly. They made us feel at home. I will be back often. I highly recommend. "
