"Had a great stay in one of the refurbished rooms (design). Bed was really comfortable with lots of pillows and crisp white sheets. Shower room excellent and clean. Communal areas are good, can't understand why some other reviews say different. There are vending machines for cold drinks, snacks and coffee which I found very useful. The staff were all helpfull. Breakfast is excellent, especially the service from Ali and the very lovely Ofelia, always with a smile, thank you."

"I stayed here for 4 nights recently and loved it. It’s on a charming, quiet street and the hotel was quiet as well. Exactly what I needed after running around the city all day. My room was spacious and clean. the breakfast was great, tons of fresh breads and jams and sliced meats, and they bring you coffee right away. The garden was also super cute. I didn’t have a day to just relax as it was my first time in beautiful Berlin and there was so much to see. But if I did I would have hung out in that garden. The reception staff were all very helpful and friendly and the breakfast staff was as well! There is so much public transit nearby with some awesome restaurants and bars within a short walk. I also took public transit to the airport early my last morning there and it was painless and quick. I was there within an hour. An amazing first trip to Berlin, and I’m very glad I chose Hotel Carolinenhof, it was perfect!"
