"The check in staff was quite rude - she made us wait another half an hour to check in without a proper explanation. Staff should be taught customer service as it is the guests that keep them in business. The apartment room had all the basic amenities, cookware, utensils and plenty of storage. "Residhome is in an excellent location, close to the tram stop. The reception was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Our apartment was comfortable and well-equipped and we appreciated the efficient air-con, given it was extremely hot! The breakfasts were excellent, with a good variety of sweet and savoury products and the Breakfast Room manager was very efficient at keeping everything topped up. There are two supermarkets nearby where milk and other provisions can be bought, and there are plenty of restaurants a short walk away, including the excellent Halles de Bacalan, a haven for streetfood. Finally, the Cite du Vin is a short walk away, and well worth a visit."

"I had high expectations and they were met and exceeded. The staff are polite, courteous and professional without being robotic, and that makes a difference. The room was larger than expecting, well furnished. The bathroom was good and the buttons for the shower avoided the usual fear of having to take a degree in plumbing that you usually find with hotel bathrooms. The bed was a little firmer than I like but then everyone has different tastes. The coffee was good, the water fountain downstairs good (although I didn't really want to go down in my pyjamas). The hotel was better than the photos!"
