"Highly recommend for anyone staying in Boquete. It’s a little out from the main “downtown” road, so I’d recommend a car rental if you stay here. But it’s lovely, safe, quiet and has a very friendly staff. No mosquito net necessary in April. "

"The overall facilities of the property were very good. Rooms were clean and they had all the necessary amenities to be comfortable (small refrigerator, microwave, washer/dryer, BBQ stove, a private terrace), However, the hotel has way too many rules and policies which makes it unwelcoming. If you infringe on any of these rules it will cost you. These rules include the hours of checking in and out, visiting hours of non-registered guests, losing of keys, among others. "Bambuda is fantastic. The location is excellent with breathtaking views of the mountains & countryside. The food in the restaurant is excellent & there are numerous options at all times of the day. The service at the front desk & at the restaurant are prefect: helpful, friendly, & enthusiastic. Taxi rides from the hotel to a variety of destinations are easy to get & inexpensive. I had a cabin with a balcony. It felt like a cabin in the mountains but with strong hot water in the shower. "

"The location of this hostel is a bit removed from town but there are busitos available every hour to go in between for 1$ pp each way; as long as you're not too claustrophobic. Angel is fantastic for letting you know the times when they'll be coming through if you ask and will even message and watch for them if you need to catch one. Amenities are basic but comfortable. Wifi speed was about 4-5Mbps. Cleanliness was pretty great with only a few smaller issues that come from sharing a bathroom....
