A lovely Homestay! Good location, comfortable room, booking for tours, transportation, motorbike and peddle bikes, kayaks, everything to make a perfect stay in Phong Nha. The staff were so friendly and helpful! We can’t wait to return!

Fab stay. Helpful from start to finish. We had breakfast. Delightful simple breakfast which was super cheat. Laundry completed and transfers organised. It was a brief stay for one night but loved this area so much we wished we stayed longer. Limited tourism which is right up my street but plenty to do in the day and night

Very nice place to stay for Phong Nha. Staff is very nice and considering. I booked tours and airport transportation from the Lucky homes without any problems. They didn’t charge me extra when I asked to go to Đồng Hoi for shopping on the way to the airport

Everything was clean and new construction. The staff were very accommodating. They picked me up from the bus station and even drove me around the National park when my tour got canceled. They booked rides to the airport and helped in ever way they could. I would definitely stay again.

The highlight of our Vietnam trip

The good: what a wonderful, friendly family run business in the perfect location, a 10 minute walk or 5 minute cycle ride (they have free bikes in good condition that you can borrow) from Phong Nha town. The food was also surprisingly good for such a small establishment, and we absolutely LOVED the banana pancakes for breakfast. The daughter of the family, Xiem, studies tourism in Ho Chi Minh, and works at home during holidays. You can really tell that she studies tourism because she is incredibly service minded. She recommended a couple of places to eat in Phong Nha (Chao Vietnam and Veggie Box), and she was spot on. She also organized two tours for our family, and they were exactly what we were looking for and perfectly suitable for our kids. She even checked additional details with one of the tour operators, and followed up with me via WhatsApp so I had the correct information. Our stay in Lucky Homes and in Phong Nha was the highlight of our trip to Vietnam. The bad: not much really. It’s a 3 star place, so it has a balance of comfort but not much luxury. Which is fine, you’re not in Phong Nha to hang out at a 5 star resort, you’re there to go out and about to see the amazing national park with all it has to offer.

Good location by the river, a short cycle ride in to main restaurant area, using complimentary bikes. Nice spacious rooms with AC and fans. Large shower room. Nice pool.

Amazing hotel & price, incredible staff & location

I cannot recommend this hotel enough! Great hotel, great location, great price. Staff was EXTREMELY friendly, kind, and helpful. What a lovely family that runs this place, they were all incredible. Binh is the receptionist and he goes above and beyond for guests. During check in he helped me book a tour for the following day, and I took his recommendation which was an unbelievable experience exploring caves. The food here is amazing. The kitchen stays open very late, they pretty much will make you whatever you want whenever you want it. But their menu is awesome, breakfast lunch and dinner, all good. The location is excellent, it is right in the middle of all the action in Phong Nha, so lots to do and see in the area. The hotel is newer and in great shape. The room was huge and the bathroom is massive. AC works well. I enjoyed swimming in the pool. I initially booked 2 nights but ended up staying a third as I enjoyed it so much here and there is so much to do in the area. Amazing stay here, would definitely recommend. This is one of my favorite places Ive stayed in Vietnam.

Newer property with pool and restaurant right on the river. It is about 10 minute walk to town. Staff are very nice. The hotel manager speaks English well and is super helpful. Booked our tour of paradise cave and dark cave through them and it was awesome. Also booked car to airport through them I think the hotel is very good value for what we paid.

Great hotel opposite the river , great views

New hotel. can sit on the upper deck for great views of the mountains friendly staff. Able and willing to arrange transportation for us to the caves. great little seating area on the river to suntan, have a drink or a meal. pool on the larger side for small hotels in Vietnam. limited food menu if you do not like Vietnamese food. hard beds ( fairly typical in SE Asia). about a 10 minute walk to to Centre of town.

We just stayed at Lucky Homes while visiting Phong Nha National Park. This establishment is brand new and a great location to get to the park. It is right on the riverside, and we had breakfast sitting outside by the river and the view was gorgeous! The rooms are very spacious, including the bathroom, and the staff works very hard to make sure you are comfortable and at home. They helped arrange our activities and also provided speedy laundry service. From our understanding, they built the rooms after the restaurant, so it is a longer standing popular local spot, and it proved to be very delicious!

Big wonderful rooms with big bathrooms. Lots of different places to sit and enjoy the views in the area. The staff was extraordinarily friendly and helpful and made our experience unforgettable. Property also has amazing riverside sitting and eating area. Very good location.
