"We stayed here on an overnight stay to NEC. we usually stay in village hotels... I am a mobility scooter user & the a accessible rooms are great. spacious & clean with a large wet room with seat. Also a lift is a must.. Evening Food slightly overpriced for pub grub.. but good choice & hot.. Breakfast always good choice small batch cooking..nice to have eggs cooked to ie poached or fried.. order..Staff as always friendly & helpful.. the only downside at the moment with this hotel is they are in the process of extending & the car park is a nightmare to navigate & only a small area for disabled guests could be found -which was a good distance away from the entrance. Trying to leave was an a really nightmare as the signage for the exit was not prominent enough with it being road & the incoming traffic blocking this..many people driving round unable to find spaces / exit Just needs better signage for the exit... Would I stay here again yes but when the building work has finished.."

"Tip: ask not to stay in the stables rooms - very small, walls are paper thin & get hot. Also the shower leaks in middle of the night. Amazing home made gluten free bread at dinner but it’s a shame theres only 1 gluten free option on menu. The menu itself is very limited. Also the breakfast gluten free bread is not as nice. "

"Reception Staff were great, very pleasant, restaurant staff not so great, we waiting 15 mins to be seated for breakfast, breakfast was awful, Bacon not cooked, no eggs, Ants crawling on the bar where the pastries, cereals and juices were. The carpets on the corridors were absolutely filthy they were clearly having renovations carried out at the hotel which we were unaware off at the time of booking. We booked a superior room has we required a fridge only to find no fridge, no bottled water, no toiletries ( all had clearly been watered down). The mattress was hard and during the night doors were been slammed so not a great night. Would not recommend and will not be going back."

"Great budget hotel with ample parking and comfortable, clean facilities. Located next to a pub serving food including breakfast and a short walk from Wether spoons and Aldi/Asda. Definitely would recommend 5*"

"Clean room, good facilities such as smart tv, iron & board, hairdryer, tea & coffee making facilities etc. Nice shower. Lovely restaurant which also does a good breakfast. Friendly staff everywhere. Easy & ample safe parking accessed via a long driveway."

"The staff were attentive and helpful, even helping us with our luggage when we checked in past midnight. Thank you! However, the property is need of some TLC and maintenance. Room sizing varies greatly even in the same category of room (a group of us stayed with 3 separate bookings so we know), the phones never worked even to speak to reception (even when we called from our mobiles no one ever answered over 2 days) and the hotel is like a warren with rooms on the same floor spread out across various corridors and up and down stairs making it difficult to navigate and move luggage around. Parking on site was helpful though £10 a night feels an excessive fee. When checking in an unsavoury duo walked into the hotel (after midnight) armed with alcohol and a hostile attitude - they were not staying at the hotel. Staff dealt with it well but I can’t help wondering why anyone can just walk into the hotel at anytime."
