"Photos can not capture the beautiful scenery at the villa. You are surrounded by nature and the view of the Northern Lights surrounds the area when they are dancing. Our teens, young adults, middle-aged, and senior family members were all able to enjoy the spacious layout. Travel to local sights is easy and worth it in order to be in the tranquil quiet by the lake. I highly recommend staying here. The owners are wonderful hosts."

"Lovely room, with large bathroom with robes and slippers provided. Continental breakfast provided with some hot food ie scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages. Staff were very helpful, allowed to check in slightly earlier out out slightly later. We were disappointed with the hot pools not quite what we had expected. Saying that the sauna by them was excellent. Bring a towel to sit on a seating gets hot."

We did park our rental 2-3 blocks away for cheaper parking but the apt itself was wonderful…..our 2 bedroom/1 bath had washer and dryer and the breakfast basket each day was lovely with fruit, meat/cheese and veggies. The fresh baked bread delivered each day was a treat as well! Highly recommended staying here!"

The hotel breakfast was outstanding- a great way to get ready for a day of adventure!! And the gym and sauna were very nice. We found street parking within a block of the hotel every night. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Reykjavik!!"

Just a note not much choice for dinner in the area but the hotel serves dinner for addtl fee. Hamburger was very good but I was more pleased with the breakfast. Good internet and the room was very spacious."

The drains in the bathroom took a long time to drain. Notified the front desk and they told us that the drains always worked very slow. We flooded the hallway too! We would stay there again."
