"Stayed here about 12/15 times, handy car park subsidies over the road £10 for 24hrs safe, my only issue is I had a glass of wine and it was horrendous, I asked the girl if I could change it for a primitivo as the Malbec was not right. She told me there was nothing wrong with it and it’s me not the wine! I felt awkward and embarrassed as I know my wines and was genuinely shocked by her attitude, which I heard her tell a colleague when I sat down, she was probably 19/20 yrs old, bad attitude"

"From check in to check out, our 3 night weekend stay at the Ruskin was perfect. All staff were really friendly and very helpful. All food and drink provided, breakfast and bar snacks were delicious with great choices and again served "with friendly and genuine smiles". The standard twin room was perfectly adequate, with all you need and comfortable mattresses for great sleeps too. Efficient lifts to our second floor room. Will hopefully be returning, maybe even later this year. Highly recommend this centrally located hotel, just a short walk to the theatres, town and shops."
