Staff were friendly and very helpful, polite and courteous at all times.
Really good comfortable room, although room is above the pub, I had no noise at all. Breakfast was £7 and worth it, food was cooked fresh and coffee is brewed to order.
Will be rebooking here for sure:)
The staff were very freindly & helpful,
I messed up the booking & arrived 24 hours early but the lady very kindly still found us a room . Breakfast was cooked fresh & very nice .
Secure parking & close to the city centre with good transport links .
I recently stayed at this hotel with my family, and unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing overall.
The biggest issue was the door lock. It was very unreliable and failed multiple times. I had to go down to reception several times just to get access to the room, which was extremely inconvenient and frustrating.
Another major problem was that the lift was not working. I had to carry my pushchair and manage my kids up to the third floor, which was very difficult and stressful. This made the stay even more uncomfortable for my family.
The room cleanliness was acceptable, but the overall condition of the hotel was not great. The door looked very old, and the carpet was noticeably dirty, which made the place feel poorly maintained.
On a positive note, the staff were friendly and helpful, which I appreciated.
However, due to poor maintenance, the lift issue, and the constant problems with the door lock, I would not recommend this hotel unless significant improvements are made.
Room was clean as were the corridors. The earing area is lovely and presentable and the breakfast is amazing. I would reccomend paying for breakfast at the hotel as its £13 to book on hotels or its £7 if you book it at the hotel. Only downside is the internet connection can be a bit iffy

Cheap and cheerful. For 1 night, clean and comfortable room, and although above a pub it was quiet.
Great price, just what we needed a 1 night stay.

Safe parking with shutter. Staff were helpful. But the room didn't seem clean and we both found a bug in each of our beds sadly. Smoke alarm kept making weird buzzing noises so we had to disable it which wasn't safe. Bed was comfy and room was warm but once we'd seen the bugs sleep was difficult! Staff were sweet and helpful.
Had a good stay. Well worth the money. Clean and very friendly

My interaction with staff was fine and a lovely lady called me a cab. The room was very drab with a broken window. The bed was comfy and warm room. It was fine just rather run down.
