Staff was helpful and friendly as well.
The only thing I’d add is fresh baked cookies for guests as the other higher end hotels offer in lake placid.

"Hotel was very nice and the room was spacious, clean, modern, and comfortable. The only negative was the coffee for the room was the worst I’ve ever had. Other than that staff and facilities were exceptional. "
"This is a very good residential-style property, good value. Separate bedroom, updated bathroom with two doors, one to the living room/kitchen, one to the bedroom. Fully equipped kitchen and two closets. All very clean, also the lighting was good, with no harsh fluorescent lights.
Check-in is at a separate property on Mirror Lake Drive, but that was very straightforward and the direction were easy.
This is very close to Hannaford's grocery store plaza.
A couple of very minor points. The glass bathroom shower is a little awkward to reach around to turn on and regulate the water/temperature. Also, (explaining the points off for property condition and area around the property), there is some kind of excavation happening in back of the hotel involving heavy equipment. I assume that is temporary.
