"The room wasn’t the cleanest. There was still hair in the shower. The toilet wasn’t scrubbed. I actually went and bought cleaning supplies to feel slightly comfortable in the room. The bathroom sink barely had any water come out and it did not get hot. Our sheets had a burn in them from what appeared to be a cigarette. The place reeked of marijuana and cigarette smoke. In addition it was not easily accessible. You have to go up a flight of stairs to get to the elevator. This makes it difficult to load up the luggage cart as you have to carry everything up a flight of stairs to put it on the cart. Beach access also requires you to go down stairs. This was all difficult with having a baby stroller. It would be nearly impossible if handicapped."

"The Plim Plaza is a great old beach hotel. Not the place if you’re looking for super luxury and room service, but a perfect place for a clean room with clean towels, a fridge & microwave to spend time when you’re not on the beach or enjoying OC restaurants or entertainment. It has a really nice pool too."

"I loved this property! The amenities were great! Everything you need for a comfortable stay. Housekeeping came daily. Staff was receptive of guests needs. There are many shops restaurants and a Cafe attached to the hotel. The indoor and outdoor pool are awesome! Boardwalk access with direct beach view from the room offered just the relaxing vibe we needed. The restaurant inside the hotel was very nice.The hotel cafe has stale food. The pizza shop attached to the hotel, at the boardwalk has poor customer service. The rude staff gave me the wrong order and admitted it was their fault but management insisted I pay an extra $9 for them to fix the order. I definitely won't be eating there next time. There are other welcoming places to eat int he area. Otherwise, this is a great hotel!!"
