"Great location, very close to all the tourist attractions. Staff are super friendly, rooms are clean and comfortable. It’s my second time staying in this hotel. Highly recommended. "
"There’s a great vibe here—easy going and comfort with style. The staff was friendly and helpful, even over the phone. Coffee and snacks at $3-4 each made the mornings great. NYC tourists are near a 1 train at 181st to head straight downtown with the bonus of but a diverse neighborhood and nearby parks and waterfront. A king suite was a perfect fit for a family of three with older child, plus had a stellar uptown view. "
"The hotel room was clean and the location was very central to the tourist attractions that we visited within 2 days. I love that it's in the heart of the city. Check-in had a very long line, especially because the mobile key option was disabled. The elevators took a long time. There could be more food options on-site and it would be nice if they were offered at more economical prices. We didnt have the opportunity to use the resort credit offered for food because of limited options and extremely busy lines. The staff was friendly for the most part. There were a few inconsistencies and its hard to speak with a front desk representative. The overall hotel experience was great for my family with teenagers. I'd come back again during a non-peak season, outside of the holidays."
"I’ve stayed here at least 4 times and I love their consistency room is cleaned and haven’t had any issues. Parking is pricey at $30 per night but for garage parking and freedom to leave at will gives me the peace of mind when staying in the Bronx. "
Holiday Inn Express & Suites Bronx - Zoo Area by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"This had been one the best hotel stay this year. The front desk person, Ms. Yaya, was the best. She provided best service by giving us directions, make sure our room meet our expectations, and just being kind to the guests. An individual like her in this business is rare and a gem.
The breakfast was awesome! The food was hot, fresh, and there were healthy opinions (love the turkey sausage and yogurt). The breakfast attendant, Mrs.Maria keep the food station fully and the tables were clean. Her attention to detail make it fun to come down with my family and enjoy the meal.
The rooms were clean and bed were comfy. My husband love the body pillows on our king size bed.
Over all look of the hotel was clean and well maintained.
When I come back to NYC, I will be staying here, because it felt like you were treated as family.
Thank you Mrs. Yaya and Mrs. Maria for making are stay great. "
