"first room we were shown was horrible! They have a building for long stays and that's where they tried to put us. THE PIC YOU HAVE IS NOT ACCURATE! trash all over outside, pool closed, stained and cigarette burned bed linens. None of the standard amenities. DO NOT recommend this place! "

"Property was clean but a little dated. Staff was very nice. Overall good place to stay but definitely not worth 200.00 a night. Constant slamming of doors in the morning made it really hard to sleep in."

"Rooms are large and clean, parking was limited but they had softball and lacrosse teams. I didn’t eat the breakfast because it was out of quite a few things. I would stay again, but at a much lower room rate. I believe the rate was inflated due to the Luke Combs concert in Ames. "

"The beds are very comfortable! Hardly anyone staying in the hotel, yet housekeeping was at our door before 11. "

"I would like to rate the staff higher however this is the second year I have had an issue with the housekeeping staff. My husband and I attend an event not far from this hotel around the same time every year. Because the event doesn’t start until later in the day, I asked for a late checkout. For $15 I was given until 1 pm. But even though I had a late checkout, the housekeeping staff began knocking on my door at 9 AM. I told them to go away, which means I’m obviously occupying the room and I had not checked out. They then knocked on my door at 10 AM which I said please go away. I have a late checkout. And then at 10:30, I could hear someone trying to use a key card to open the door without knocking. Luckily, I had locked the deadbolt. At 11 AM, I received another knock in which I walked up to the door and said please go away. I have a late checkout. Call the front desk. And then again at noon, they knocked on the door. At this point, I was very upset. I told the housekeeper to please go away, that I had a late checkout, and that she needed to call the front desk. She just stood outside my door until I walked back to it and told her if you don’t leave, I’ll call them and tell them you’re harassing me. Due to a health issue it is difficult for me to sleep. All of this made it impossible. I used to work in a hotel- this was ridiculous."
