Hotels near Batten Bay Beach

"Most hotels now provide a coffee machine in the room. This hotel does not. No drinking glasses were provided except for small glasses in the bathroom, although a bottle of spring water was provided. The shower was difficult to operate and it was impossible to make the water hot enough. Paint was peeling off one of the walls. The view from the room was delightful."

"The bed was firm & comfortable, and the shower was good and hot. There was a good selection at breakfast - nice breads, well-cooked hot food, and a reasonable range of healthy options. Everything was very clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The only downsides were noise related: the bedroom windows could have done with another layer of glazing as there was quite a lot of activity going on outside at times overnight - luckily I had earplugs - and the music was really far too loud at breakfast."

"Facial tissue is so important and should be in every room. A continental breakfast would help the seniors staying … as it’s a long walk from them to any restaurants"

"The apartment was really lovely and as described and perfect for our birthday celebration. Unfortunately, when we arrived there was a lot of broken glass all over the balcony which we didn’t realise until we stepped on it barefoot. We couldn’t find the outside bins as they were not where described. The access to the property in the evening was stressful as it is located in a very busy bar area which had people queued up to get. Security wouldn’t let us in to get to the apartment and we had to queue up. I wouldn’t recommend staying here with children due to the access in the evenings."

"Unfortunately, we were moved to their sister hotel named ‘The Drake Hotel’ due to no room available. But the Drake Hotel’ staff were amazing, very helpful with our little dog, set up private breakfast area and oh yeah the breakfast was delicious too."

"The hotel was exactly as described in photos. Clean, classy and very good value for money. We couldn’t hear any guests within property. Shower was powerful and nice and bathroom was clean. Bed comfortable, duvet thick but airy which was the perfect combo. Outside space from the room was well presents and clean. No bad smell and easy check in. Only thing I would critique is we couldn’t open window wide enough for our personal choice and could do with curtains as well blinds as that morning sun hit hard. But as whole I would absolutely recommend and return for a visit. Great stay."
