"Nice clean hotel, good size standard king room, staff very friendly and informative, tea and coffee available in room with biscuits, Nespresso would have been better as offered by other hotels in the area. Good size desk for working on, with sockets and USB points close to hand. wifi had good signal and easy to connect to. No usb points or plug sockets near the bed though. Hair dryer, safe, iron and board also supplied in the room. Shower was powerful and hot with large head as well as smaller shower and soap/shampoo available. Evening meal was tasty with good portion and friendly, efficient service. Breakfast buffet was good with a wide selection of hot food and some pastries/muffins, great to have fresh baked croissants and pain au choc still warm, cereals, fruit etc with coffee machine. However, the food could have been hotter from the buffet. Parking available at reasonable price for the area £14 overnight, but spaces were quite small with not much room between cars, especially larger cars."

"Such a disappointment. Was told conflicting things by staff so ended up paying £15 for parking instead of 5. Then the system was down so I couldn’t actually check in. When I did get checked in, it got worse. I was travelling solo with my three yearold son. My sons bed was covered in dog hair in the first room. They moved us to a different room which had brown stains on the bedding, so the staff just brought me new sheets to change myself. The whole place felt so dirty and unkept. Not a fan at all. "

"This an impotant historic property with fabulous grounds but has been upgraded to a clinical level. Very clean but no soul. Needs aome fwminine touches. Shelving, pictures, hooks etc. No retaurant facilities or breakfast. Basic but adequate"

"Safest place in the UK ☹️Soulless. Avoid. If this is the future. I’m out of here. After a 14 hour shift. No one there. Waited an hour for someone to answer the phone to then guide us through a Crystal Maze challenge to get our keys and type in the access code to enter the place. Room had a smell of disposed vapes and late night Chinese takeaways sat in bed on your own wondering where it all went wrong.The shower was that sad and weak I could here it crying during the night."

"Peaceful, clean surroundings. Helpful, friendly staff, excellent breakfast, choosing from both continental and cooked (vegetarian for me). Loved my double room on the top floor. All very enjoyable. Thankyou."

"Parking was a nightmare and the telly in the room wasnt great terrible reception and not all channels worked. Room was nice amd comfortable Gym was excellent and staff very helpful "
