"Domaine de Lanis is lovely - thoughfully renovated to a very high standard (even the teacups are color-coordinated! see photo), big airy rooms with sitting area, quiet, comfortable, nice pool, and garden to explore. Loved my stay here. Had Table D'Hote one night, it was excellent and lovely to talk to the hosts who were very friendly and helpful.
Very happy to recommend and would love to return."
"Excellent Hotel owned by Spanghero Family of French Rugby fame, we met Guy Spanghero, rooms and clean comfortable, bed are good, shower Excellent, restaurant very popular, great food, and nice chill out lounge area"
"Bon séjour en famille malgré la chaleur et une climatisation très bruyante. Manque de stores occulants aux vélux et aux fenêtres. 1 seul lit canapé très étroit pour mes 2 enfants de 8 et 10 ans."
"Two of us stayed one night, staff were friendly and rooms comfortable. Quite rural location with ample parking, they even locked our motorbikes in a garage for the night. Breakfast was very basic but adequate. Didn’t have dinner but looked like a busy popular restaurant. Made an excellent stopover."

Hôtel Le Donjon - Coeur de la Cité Médiévale
10/10 Excellent
"Very good for families. Quiet, clean, comfortable in the heart of the medieval city"
"Hotel is around 40 mins up a hill from the centre of Carcassone and public transport to get there isn’t good. There isn’t much around there so if you don’t have a car be prepared to get a lot of steps in. The room itself could do with a renovation. "

"The apartment was spacious. 1 bedroom, and sofa bed in living/kitchen area. Very clean and great air-conditioning. Kitchen/cooking area was basic but adequate for a short stay. Reception was welcoming and spacious. Staff were very pleasant and nothing was any bother. Breakfast was self service with good choices of cheese, bread and pastries. Parking was reasonable at 10 euros per night in a secure under building car park. The hotel was very close to the "old city" and the city centre. Both within easy walking distance. "
