Barton’s Mill was a fantastic find. Very friendly staff. Fabulous breakfast. We liked the fact the rooms were separate from the pub and easily accessible. Situated in a beautiful area. Easy access to M3. Would definitely recommend.

Enjoyable food and ambiance. Pleasant location by river and interesting artifacts connected to the old mill. Quiet location for overnight accommodation away from the main building. Only slight problem was the pebbled area which made wheeling luggage a bit difficult.

Very clean and spacious rooms. Good breakfast. Didn’t have dinner but the restaurant looked inviting and the old mill mechanism was very interesting. The pebbles on the pathway leading to the bedrooms made wheeling suitcases difficult but we got help from a staff member who carried them to our car.

A goid nights stay in a decent size room that was not only comfortable but spotless. All the touches one woukd exoect from a much more expensive accommodation. Breakfast and staff were excellent

Bartons mill

The room.was spacious and comfortable. Plenty of parking and the pub is great. We had a little food in the evening and the breakfast included set us up.

Booked for rooms for family attending a wedding. Food was great as was service.rooms were very good and all as a private courtyard away from pub and restaurant. Good value for money, definitely ticked all our boxes.

Barton mill

Barton Mill was a very nice and welcoming pub with our room spacious and a lovely shower room. Certainly something that would suit a wheel chair user. Pleasant helpful staff. Will visit again

Fabulous rooms

Rooms were really lovely and spacious. Very comfy big bed, sofa, desk, everything you need. Busy pub and nice walk along river to the Basing barn and house. Would definitely stay again.

Our stay at Barton’s Mill was delightful . Excellent service and brilliant value for money . The twin room had everything we needed , shower was powerful and everything was exceptionally clean and well organised . Great menu for breakfast and all staff were very friendly and helpful I thoroughly recommend
