The communal areas are also very clean and the hotel has a lift (which provides welcome respite from all the stairs around Paris!) Ideal location a short walk from public transport, many restaurants to choose from in the immediate area, a lift, air conditioning, and most importantly a 9 minute walk to the funicular at Sacre Coeur!! "This is just a delightful hotel in the heart of Montmatre. It's within walking distance of charming options and lots of history. The staff couldn't be nicer, the rooms modern and lovely, and the AC worked PERFECTLY in the heat of summer. A small note -- the hotel breakfast is indeed "above average" as opposed to "excellent". But for the price, it is a great option, as most breakfast options close by will charge the same or more. Otherwise, I have no notes .. 10/10!"
