Hotel Milano

10/10 Excellent

"This is a small boutique hotel (less then 35 rooms) on a main street in Old San Juan. It has been remodeled and the property is beautiful. A crew was working on adding a bar and food area in the lobby. I envision it will be nice new amenity for future guests. The rooms floors have been refinished in a beautiful black and white Spanish tile. The shower follows the same tile colors scheme with a modern Spanish accent. The mattress is comfortable. However, not the bess for side sleepers. The pillow aren't luxious. On the plus isde, the rooms are spacious. I booked the city street view which was beautiful for taking pictures of the street below. The room's amenities were a modest size refrigerator, a Nespresso coffee maker with provided coffee and tea pods, unlimited bottle water, WIFI, and a filtered water ice machine and fountain on each floor. In the bathroom, a shower cap, soap, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, a body loafer, cream colored towels (over white) were nicely displayed for use. The room was very clean. A blanket was displayed across the bottom of the king-size bed. The bedframe has two USB slots on each side. The back of the nightstand had two more usb outlets with additional USB outlets on the wall sockets. There is no ironing board nor iron available. Instead, a powerful steamer is available. I must say it works better than an iron for me. The AC worked just fine in my room. You are able to adjust the room temperature to your liking."

"This hotel is beautiful and has a historic look to it, the floor tiles are so pretty! Super high ceilings and very comfortable room. The open bar was an amazing welcome after a stressful day and a nice way to mingle with some other guests, it's a very calm vibe though so it allows you to completely relax right away. The staff was very nice, helpful, and efficient. I will 1000% stay here again!"

"Escogimos el Hotel Puerto Valdés para hospedarnos durante la graduación de nuestra hija en el Coca-Cola Music Hall, y fue una excelente decisión. Su ubicación, a solo minutos del evento, fue perfecta, pero lo que realmente hizo especial nuestra estadía fue la calidad del servicio. Desde que entramos nos sentimos bienvenidos. La recepción estaba impecable, con un ambiente elegante, acogedor y un aroma muy agradable que transmitía limpieza desde el primer momento. Queremos agradecer especialmente al Sr. Héctor, quien nos brindó un servicio excepcional. Nos asistió con nuestro hijo, que utiliza silla de ruedas, y con el estacionamiento de nuestra SUV. Su amabilidad, empatía y disposición para ayudar fueron extraordinarias. Todo el personal fue igualmente atento y cordial. El estudio que nos asignaron era hermoso, amplio, elegante, impecablemente limpio y muy cómodo. Además, fue ideal para movilizarnos con la silla de ruedas. Agradecemos que tomaran en cuenta nuestra petición de asignarnos un estudio tranquilo, ya que nuestro hijo es muy sensible a los ruidos. Ese detalle marcó una gran diferencia para nuestra familia. Recomendamos el Hotel Puerto Valdés al 100%. Gracias por hacer aún más especial un momento tan importante para nuestra familia. Sin duda, volveremos."

"Excelente lugar para escapar del ruido de la ciudad. Me gustó mucho la limpieza de las habitaciones y en general. También que tenían diferentes amenidades para disfrutar del lugar sin tener que salir de allí. El servicio del restaurante puede mejorar ya que ordenamos entradas y una pechuga a la plancha y se tardaron un montón. Pero todo lo demás súper. Lo recomiendo."
