The location couldn’t be better — just a short walk to the beach, great restaurants, and Mataró’s city center. The room was clean, modern, and comfortable, with great air conditioning and a cozy bed after long travel days. The staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in was smooth and efficient. We especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere and how close the hotel was to the train station, making day trips to Barcelona incredibly easy. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing, affordable, and well-located stay on the coast near Barcelona.

Location is great. Short walk from train station with regular 45 minute trains to Barcelona. Close to beautiful beach and lots of bars. Hotel restaurant and bar is also good. Breakfast is enough to set you up for day. I did find room hot despite the air conditioning. Staff are very friendly with good English skills

Safe and sound

This was an amazing stay, outside of Barcelona. It has the train route easy and close but it takes over an hour to make it to the city center. Over all the hotel was perfect if your plan is to be in a quite area and a step away from the beach.

Location was great, about 3 blocks from the beach. Staff was super helpful. They offer garage, but paid. Room was comfy. It was quiet and I had the essentials. I recommend it.

What a find. Very good hotel, handy for the train station and the centre of Mataro, and getting into Barcelona. Plenty of choice for breakfast, especially as mine was included in my room price. Also some options for an evening meal, not quite as many but the food was very good. Only small gripe, which wasn't the hotels fault, was on my floor on my last night there were some very loud guests who were constantly going into other rooms, knocking on doors as they didn't answer. It didn't go on too late but was annoying.

Generally a very comfortable. Bad points: Restaurant closed on Sunday evening; Restaurant dinners need some changes- my pork jowl was 95% fat! ; most of the plug sockets in the room were damaged; No coffee or tea making facilities in the room; Room decor a bit stark/basic; bathroom tap had a painfully weak flow. Good points- helpful staff; very good breakfast selection; well situated for access to town and station; room cleaning excellent. Great aircon. A good hotel for a 3 star but could be very good with a few improvements. Dont hesitate to stay here.

I loved the beds. The mattresses are very comfortable I slept like a king. The room was very clean and roomy for the four of us. There were four beds in the room. Lots of plugs for to connect your electronic devices.

The property does not look like in the photos on Expedia, but very clean room, friendly staff and good location to catch the train to the City as the hotel is around 200 metres walk from the train Station of Mataro. The beach is also also close to the hotel.
