It is a three-star hotel and for that room price, you can get better deals elsewhere as it is quite basic overall. But the good thing is that it is in a very nice neighbourhood but still quiet at night.

Disfunctional

As for the cleanliness it was just fine. But overall, it was disfunctional. The plugs were all loose and at the wrong place. For example ,there was no plug near the bedside table. Also, the wi fi was horrible. It got disconnected all the time.

I booked through Expedia, BUT the bedroom's picture didn't correspond to the thought as the photo showed a room with a balcony. Once at the Hotel, my bedroom HAD NO BALCONY! I had to pay a surcharge of 50€ per night to get a bedroom with a balcony. The information on the Expedia website is misleading! The Receptionist also realized the Expedia website error, and she couldn't do anything about it. NO NICE AT ALL; I booked the bedroom for the balcony as I'm claustrophobic. NEXT TIME I WILL BOOK THROUGH THE HOTEL WEBSITE DIRECTLY.

This place is a nightmare. DO NOT STAY HERE. Sadly enough we became victims of what seems to be common in this hotel. Getting stolen/robbed. We left the room early in the morning to go to the city, and before leaving we left some money inside a wallet, inside a closed backpack, inside the closet. To our surprise, we came back and the money was gone. $240 were taken away from us. We went to the front desk and talked to the manager, but to make a long story short, they did nothing. We escalated this to corporate and they did nothing. Within a 3 minutes google search, you'll find at least 15-20 reviews of people getting robbed at this hotel. It seems like management is involved because they were little to none apologetic and offered nothing in return, instead, they were confrontational and rude. This hotel has not been renovated nor taken care of in a few years.. the rooms are pretty beat up, the walls are extremely thin, so you'll hear everything from the room next door. There are no bathroom amenities, there is no shower soap, the breakfast buffet is always the same. We asked to fried eggs instead or scrambled and they said it wasn't possible. Even though it has a great location, I wouldn't recommend anyone staying here, however, if you do stay, make sure you keep an eye on your stuff. PEOPLE GET ROBBED HERE

El hotel es más 3 que 4 estrellas. Nada más llegar ya nos dijeron que no habia sitio en el parking, sin mucha simpatia por parte el personal de recepción. El ascensor funciona mal, con ruidos y vibraciones muy estrañas. La habitación no estaba lo que diriamos limpia y en el baño habia pelos en la bañera. La calefacción no la pudinos encender porque hacia un ruido insoportable y para más sorpresa no habia ni una miserable manta para pasar la noche. No fue posible hacer reclamacion porque en recepción casa vez que bajabamos no habia nadie, y al hacer el chec out, no apetecia meter jaleo. Para nada es un hotel acondejable, Lo unico que podemos decir bueno es la situación, pero no volveremos.

Great location. Front desk staffs are friendly and efficient. Room size is average but don't have much lightings. I stayed one night before going for the cruise in BCN and I stayed one night at this same hotel after get off the ship. The room was decent and clean for the first night I stayed. However the hotel room was not in a very good shape for my second stay. The tiles inside the room and the bathroom were uneven. Water mark stain on the edge of the bathroom walls and the doors. There must be a flood inside the room sometime ago but not repaired in detail after. I was very disappointed with that.

The location is great, close to Paseo de Gracia. The hotel though is expensive, aged, the cleaning upon arrival was not great (floor was sticky) and phone was not working to call reception... Very bad value for money overall. I will not come back until it is modernized.

Bed was uncomfortable, walls were super thin, and there was mold in the bathroom/shower. Don’t know how this is considered a four star hotel. Staff was kind and that was the only upside.
