Very nice hotel located in the Barcelona University area, close to many restaurants, shops, metro stations. The room was large enough for two people, clean, quiet and comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wishes to have a place to stay in the Barcelona city center.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Casa Luz. Hotel was very clean. The location was perfect for getting to the sites we wanted to see. When we didn’t walk, the metro and bus lines were very close and hotel staff was very helpful in our first navigation. We also included breakfast with our stay, which had a nice variety and made to order egg dishes. We would definitely stay here again.

Genaro!!!!! Upon check in, I felt at ease! Genaro and his colleagues were oh so friendly and greeted me with so much grace and energy. I traveled in from France and travel days are always meh, but they made getting settled so easy. The rooms are amazing, the view from the rooftop, the comfy bed. 10/10 would stay here again (in fact, I extended my stay) what a wonderful experience in a great area for exploring Barcelona.

The hotel was centrally located to many points of interest around Barcelona. Very walkable to the metro stops to get anywhere in the city. There were plenty of restaurants and shops in area that are worth exploring. The staff were very friendly, professional and accommodating throughout. The double-bed room we booked was spacious and spotless clean upon arrival. It had all you can expect and stylish touches. We slept comfortably our entire stay. It should be mentioned that the noise from the busy street below may carry up through the windows but it was never over the top and can be muted some with the shutters closed. Highly recommend Hotel Casa Luz for all mentioned above and those seeking a bustling-city experience in the heart of Barcelona.

This hotel is in the perfect location, close to many attractions and right next to the metro station so getting to and from the train station or airport is very easy. The rooms we clean and spacious and so was the bathroom. I strongly suggest booking the breakfast - it is wonderful.
