The hotels location is excellent and close to all the important amenities, the breakfast had loads of good food and choices and dinner was excellent, choices for vegetarian were very very limited although they did create a custom veggie for one of us, over all a pleasant stay.

We stayed 2 nights at the gran hotel Havana. When we arrived there was some work being completed inside. We booked a connected family room as we have 2 teenagers. Unfortunately went we entered the room there was a sewage smell that was very strong. We asked to change room and we were moved straight away. The staff gave us a voucher to buy drinks for the inconvenience caused. The bathroom was a bit dated and the cleaning product still left on the bathroom wall. The swimming pool was small but good as described. Only one lift was working properly. Overall a good stay but probably a bit expensive for what it is. Easy to get to and from plaza Catalunya where airport buses run regularly.
