Great stay

Ideal location right in the center, steps away from airport bus and La Rambla. Front desk woman that checked us in was super nice. Room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. Beautiful view of the city.

Stunning room and terrace

We had an incredible room with a beautiful terrace looking over Barcelona. The bed and linens were super comfy and we slept so well. Staff were very nice, bathroom excellent- location great and everything spotless and spacious. Highly recommend!

personal was really not welcoming. It was giving the impression that the guests were just annoying them by entering the door. On their face, you can clearly see that they are unhappy when someone enters the door. Breakfast was really poor. The price was too expensive for what it is.

This place charged me over $650 for the first night for the very basic room (the room was still available at $220 in Expedia when I checked in) and over $440 on the 2nd night for a very small tiny old bedroom with a smelly bathroom, 2 big columns were blocking in the middle of the bedroom so the room is even smaller for 2 adults. Only because I booked ahead of time I had to pay full for the first night anyway. The place was not worth over $200 even considering its location is near the La Rambla. There was no voluntary VIP access so I requested the promised wine on the next day and room upgrade which was slightly bigger than basic room. Their breakfast needs improvement. Not many options compared to where I stayed in the other hotels for the same trip.

Good location but unhealthy heating system

I booked my room through hotels.com and saw good reviews. The location is very central and some staff are polite. However, I was allocated a tiny room on the 7th floor with only a small window facing an interior patio. The room had some vents that were constantly pushing very hot air into the room. The air conditioning was not working because is winter and there was NO AIR coming in from outside, since this was an interior patio - only smell from nearby restaurant kitchens came in, but no air. I explained that the room was very hot, but I was denied 'an upgrade' and was told by the receptionist in the afternoon that I got what I paid for. When I came back in the evening I was sweating and feeling sick, with a headache due to the heat. The lady downstairs explained that this is the system they have, it is either very hot or cold, they cannot regulate it and neither can the guests, because the room was very small and interior, the effect was more intense, turning my room into a sauna/oven with 25 degrees at one point. I went to reception and said I had to sleep in the lobby because I would asphyxiate in that room. She eventually offered me a room on the first floor, with no heating at all, which was actually pleasant in comparison. I eventually got to sleep at 3am. I would avoid this place unless they change the heating system.

Booked 3 rooms and 2 rooms air conditioner don't work. It's summer so it's super hot and stuffy air. Can't sleep! They end up put a fan in a room and no fan for another. Day 2, they said they fixed it but obviously its not so 2 nights in a row no air conditioning. Super disappointed for a 4 stars hotel. (That's what they charge and claim on their website) finally they moved us to another 2 rooms after a serious negotiation and get 2 nights refund. One of the morning we had breakfast at their restaurant, it was 9.30am and they said scrambled egg is finished. However, their breakfast time won't finish till 10.30am. A lot of guests are upset about that, so i talked to the hotel manager and requested scrambled egg. After 10min, they serve scrambled egg again and I saw at least 10 more guests come in between 9.30am and 10.30am. How can a 4 star hotel told guests scrambled egg is finished far from breakfast end time?! We have no bath gel in our shower, instead, they put 2 shampoos. Not refill our box tissue. One day one of us not feeling well and rest at hotel, when she felt better and leave the room at 3pm, she told the front desk they can make the room but they said housekeeping already gone home! Interesting! Not sure how they got their 4 stars. I won't recommend anyone to stay there. The only positive part of the hotel is the location, it's close to Plaza Cataluna. Very convenient. But there are a lot of choice in that area value for money.

도심 중앙부라 이동하기 편하고 근처 음식점, 카페가 많아 정말 좋았어요. 하지만, 4성급이라 하는 이유를 전혀 모르겠어요. 슬리퍼도 없고 욕실은 습식이라 샤워후엔 바닥 물 때문에 변기 사용도 어렵고, 슬리퍼도 없어 젖은 바닥이 너무 미끄럽고 난감했어요. 포트도 없고 옷장도 너무 작고. 다시는 재예약 생각 없어요.
