"I checked in a bit late, got the key, drop my luggage and went out for diner and drink.
When I came back for sleeping I realized that the water in the bathroom was dripping and shower head was broken.
The morning after, I asked the lobby to fix those 2 problems, they did it and had a quiet night.
All of this to mention, the maintenance of the place is not very good, but when you ask them to repair stuff they will do it. I believe bad management but if you push people a bit they will do the...
"The hotel is beautiful. The pool looking onto the beach is stunning. Reception staff are super friendly. Not great for solo travellers if you want a really social vibe and to meet people with activities etc, there is one dorm. The hotel hosts large groups of young travellers. Its sometimes feels like they take over the hotel. They have BBQs, quizzes, parties etc and the rest of the hotel is excluded.

"We had an amazing stay at Yangdai. Everything was top notch and the quality of service by the staff was well above the call of duty. Mr. Ping made sure to coordinate anything we needed on the island (taxi, excursions, restaurants, event tickets, etc) and even drove us to the ferry port himself when we were making bad timing.
